When can I start my course?

Any Monday throughout the year after you have successfully enrolled.

How long can I study for?

Minimum 1 week, maximum as long as you want, up to 1 year or more…

What is the minimum age?

16 years old and 14 years old on summer group courses.

How do I enrol onto a course?

You can enrol onto a course on-line. Just follow this link: http://liverpoolenglishcentre.co.uk/apply/ and after completing the application there is a test here: http://liverpoolenglishcentre.co.uk/level-test/ After checking it we will send you an acceptance letter and an invoice with payment methods. Alternatively you can visit our school to enroll.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

A course fee deposit of £100 is required to secure the course and the full accommodation fee is required before the course start date.

Do I need a visa?

Students from the European Economic Zone (EEA) and Switzerland do not need a visa. If you are from another country then check with the British Consulate in your country of residence.

How many students are there in each class?

10 students maximum per class.

What nationalities are the other students?

From all over the world. We have students from Europe, South America, Asia and Africa.

Tell me about the teachers?

We select our teachers carefully. They all have degrees and teaching qualifications. They also have personalities which enjoy meeting people from different cultures and they make their lessons stimulating and enjoyable.

Are all course materials included?

Course materials are included in the registration fee. Every student gets free access to LEC e-learning resources also.

End of course certificate.

At the end of your course we will issue you with a certificate, an attendance letter and a final report.

What about Internet access?

Free Wi – Fi is available throughout the school. Student residence buildings and home – stays also offer free Wi – Fi.

What should I do if I am not happy?

If you have an issue with your course or accommodation please speak with us as soon as possible. You will find details about our complaints procedure on our website under Terms & Conditions.

What is your welfare policy?

We take our responsibility for our students very seriously and we endeavour to ensure that our staff are fully trained in safeguarding and all students know who to contact in cases of emergencies.

Are there English lessons for beginners available?

Yes, we provide basic to advanced English courses for both lower levels and higher levels. Our English lessons for beginners module helps you to learn basic English speaking, pronunciation, writing and listening by covering all the basic rules of grammar.
